The Ornament Scarf - knitting pattern

Knit your own Ornament Scarf with this double-knitting pattern, available in English as a digital PDF. Choose from three lengths to suit the way you like to wear your scarf, from a shorter version to an extra-long wrap.

Sizes & yarn requirements

All three versions have the same width. Yarn quantities below are given per colour; you will need two colours. Inch measurements are approximate.

• 128 cm (50.4 inches): 100 g per colour.
• 192 cm (75.6 inches): 150 g per colour.
• 256 cm (100.8 inches): 240 g per colour.

Yarn I used for the short version

CaMaRose Lovfald, 100 m per 50 g skein:

• Hvid: 2 skeins (100 g).
• Sort: 2 skeins (100 g).

Alternative yarns

You can also use any sock yarn or fingering-weight yarn. Some of my favourites are:

• Lana Grossa Meilenweit 100 Uni: 420 m per 100 g.
• Lang Yarns Jawoll: 210 m per 50 g, with a beautiful range of colours to choose from.
